Short walk and you have all you need for a one week stay, using Vila do Bispo to explore the impressive south western region of Portugal, especially Ingenia beach. We luved Eugenia at Restaurant Convivio, the fresh foods market and incredible range at Lidl supermarket. Evening village strolls and joining a local party at the local cultural hall, completed a memorable stay

Small town in an ideal location to explore the beaches and coastline of western algarve. Not too overrun by tourists like places like Sagres, still feels like a charming Portugese small town. Has large supermarkets too and a market for convenience. Could do with a few more restaurants and cafes though as there isn't much choice for eating out - there are a few good fish restaurants and a nice Pizza place but not much else.

Very nice small village, very well located with access to several very nice beaches, max 20 minutes away by car, either in the south coast or in the southwest, ideal for surfing. Very good restaurants in town and nearby. Ideal for nature lovers and birdwatchers and on top of that, its not crowded at all!

Vila Do Bispo is a nice place to stay for a few days and a great base for touring the local beaches. The only downside to our stay was that it was very quiet during the day and evenings when we went with very few restaurants or bars to grab a quick drink.
We ate at Eira Do Mel which was very tasty and if you like vegetarian food, try Pisco.
Convenient location in the center of Vila do Bispo, near shops, restaurants, mercado, and auto-laundry. We were hiking the Rota Vicentina and it was close to trail and easy to find. Room was very pleasant, good beds & shower, and cute little private patio w/ access to pool & courtyard. It was a great place to dry out damp packs & jackets:) Very quiet at night. It's a classic older building renovated into private rooms with kitchen, common areas, beautiful courtyard and a small pool
Everything. The room was super-cozy with a very comfortable mattress and our hostess was very welcoming and gave us a quick introduction to Vila do Bispo with some recommendations. The breakfast-buffet was more than sufficient and the breakfast area is located in a separate building with a kitchen which is available for use for any guest. Also the inside-yard is very green and invites to relax and enjoy the morning for a little longer.
Very kind staff, being very supportive, providing a lot of recommendation and places to see and where to get delicious dinner
Extraordinary breakfast!! Including self made dishes with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as sweet specialities from Portugal
Bright and big enough room for 2. Big shared living room with tea/coffee corner And a well equipped kitchen
Highly recommended!!!
This was unanimously our favorite stay on the Rota Vicentina (4 gals walking together). Everything about it was gorgeous. Pristine rooms. Decor is lovely. Wonderful dinner recommendations. Incredible breakfast!! Seriously SO MUCH CHOICE at breakfast, more than anywhere else. I would pass through Vila do Bispo just to stay here again. ;)
This was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were bright and spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent but the host was the most amazing woman. She let me check in quite early when I was sick from a gluten-poisoning and made sure there was gluten-free bread waiting for me in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel.
It's a very wonderful boutique hotel with pretty sitting areas in the garden. The property offers free drinking water and coffee as well. The interior designing is very suave and common areas have good vibes. They were kind enough to agree to store my luggage for an extra day as well before my arrival.
Super nice accommodation, nice and clean room with a kitchen for sharing. The kitchen was very well equipped. The accommodation had a nice outdoor sitting area. Staff was very nice and friendly. Location is good. I would always recommend this accommodation to everyone going to Vila do Bispo!
Perfect location, you can walk everywhere in Vila do Bispo, and also very near from Raposeira.
Reasonable priced comparing to what is on the market here.
Owner was very accomodating and flexible. I booked 1 night and ended up staying 3... Because it felt like home!
This small town house is a delight in the village of Vila do Bispo. Communications with Alexandra were excellent throughout. The house is full of character yet well equipped. There are a number of good restaurants all within easy walking distance of the house.
A lovely place in Vila Do Bispo.
The kitchen area was stunning and open all day for tea of coffee! The room was carefully decorated and very clean.
I had breakfast in the outdoor are and loved it. The food war great and staff was very friendly and helpful.
It‘s really lovely! The rooms are spacious, very clean and private. Facilities (kitchen and common room) are amazing. Staff was very friendly! Also thick, clean sheets, which keep you warm at night, that seems to be pretty uncommon for Portugal in spring.
We loved staying in the Appartment! It was super comfortable, very cozy, great facilities and a lovely host!
We would love to stay here again!
Vila do Bispo is super close to many beautiful beaches!
A great hotel with a nice pool and small town with many eating options. The rooms are also very spacious. Great option to relax for a few days but also for hikers as a relaxed evening.
Great location in Portugal - the beach, other cities are quite close and in a very picturesque location when travelling by car. The house itself + the breakfast was also very nice.
Breakfast was the best we had in Portugal! João was so kind an helpful. We hope we are lucky enough to come back here. It is very small and intimate place.
