We highly recommend ! Casa d'Amares was a wonderful stay! One of the cleanest places you will feel very comfortable here, I wanted to take my shoes off as soon as I walked into the room ! Also so accommodating and the staff /owner were amazingly super nice! The breakfast included was excellent! You will be extremely happy here and impressed by all. Thank you Fernanda & Paula for a wonderful stay , I hope to come back one day!
Staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barriers. Easy to check in and check out. Detachble power shower which is always a plus. Wifi great. Kindly let me use their iron for my suit. All in all a great place which was very clean, quiet & spacious. Make sure you have a rented car going there though as most hotels in Braga are a bit remote and there's not much public transport there.
Hosts are super friendly, nice people, even gave me a lift to the nearby wedding venue (huge thank you for this). Great facities, my 3yo enjoyed the pool. The expterior and interior is tastefully decorated in rustic and traditional Portuguese style. It's also very close to the main wedding venue Amares, which was key for me.
Ste staff was super friendly and always keen to help, I traveled by motorcycle and they went above and beyond to secure my motorcycle.
I had dinner in the hotel Restaurant and could not recommend it enough. Will try to plan my future trips to be able to come around more often.
We stayed only one night at Casa Lata, but the stay was so great we should’ve stayed there for longer! The hotel and the surrounding area was beautiful and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The breakfast was great! We were also given a tour at the winery.
The best hotel during our 10-day journey around Portugal. Authentic accommodation, clean rooms, nice owners, delicious breakfast, private parking.
Owners advised us a good local restaurant.
Everything was perfect!
Very clean and hospitable, everything from the welcome to the goodbye was exactly what you look for in a travelling experience. Many thanks to the Amares team for making our stay a fun and memorable one!
Cannot fault the staff, they are very friendly. The hotel is family run. The food in the restaurant is superb. They have a lovely garden outside with tables, so if the weather is nice, it's a must.
Great location as we stayed at Troia Hotel as we were going to a wedding in Quinta Lago dos Cisnes. The staff was fantastic, very helpful and even gave us a ride to the wedding!
