This house is exceptional in all regards. It is beautifully designed and furnished, full of wonderful pieces of art like a museum! It is definitely a designer house! The photos do not do it justice as it is much more beautiful, spacious and comfortable in reality. There are 4 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and an extra toilet room, a huge dinning room, a beautiful living room and a very well equipped kitchen. There is also a games room with a professional pool table. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool well kept. And the owner Antonio is a fantastic host, very attentive and helpful. it was a pleasure talking with him. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had the time to stay longer. we would definitely recommend it,

Water mill built at the end of the XVIII century, totally rebuilt in 2008. with all the comforts, it is situated in the typical village of Touguinhó, next to the East River. It has a Honeymoon Suite, 2 Junior Suites, 2 rooms with window on the river, large living room and Mezzanine, living room with library, 2 additional bathrooms, watermill with games and storeroom and fully equipped kitchen with central heating and outdoor pool .and swimming pool outside the garden. The house is flanked by two terraces, one upstream and the other downstream, with a total area of ​​about 500m2, where the pool is located. The terraces are fully landscaped and has a Greenhouse, you can find plants, flowers and various fruit trees. Above the House stands a small hill, with many fruit trees and other decorative plants and trees, where you can walk and even eat. It is 3 km from the North motorway network, 5 km from the beaches of Póvoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde and about 10 km from Estela Golf Course.
CASA DA BEIRA-RIO is located 3 kilometers distance from the coast where are located two typical small cities called Vila do Conde and Povoa de Varzim. Both are known because of their beaches and the excellent fresh sea food and fish. CASA DA BEIRA -RIO is 25 Klms away from PORTO, city considered twice as The Best European Destination for Tourists. Its Historic Center had been classified as World Heritage by Unesco and recently is visited by lots of tourists..Walking by the Historic Center , visiting the Port Wine cellars in Gaia and tasting it's excellent gastronomy will be an unforgettable experience for you. Again 25 Klms away from CASA DA BEIRA -RIO guests can visit other cities with relevant historical importance: Braga, Viana do Castelo and Guimaraes, specially this last one due to the fact that " Portugal was born there" in the XII century. In all of them you can find interesting traditions , historic centers ,beatiful monuments , squares and places and at last, before coming back home, an exceptional gastronomy and hospitality.
