The terrace was nice with a partial sea view. It was also a useful base for exploring up and down the coast and the Lima valley. Filipa, in reception, could not have been more helpful - replacing broken toaster and missing hairdryer and kitchen knives. The pool looked nice but it was very noisy, occupied by a family who rented several apartments, so we did not use.

Building itself has so much history, located almost in the centre of Afife, view of the surf from most of the property and 360 degree views from the top terrace of an already incredible place. My second stay here, Andréia and Fernando are fantastic also. One of my favourite places in portugal

We had a great room and and the daily breakfast provided was very enjoyable and varied. It was great to have access to swimming pool in the very hot temperatures - no air conditioning which would have been nice but it did not detract from our stay. We visited both local restaurants in Afife and food/service was great both times.

The accommodation is nicely done up, lots of flowers, and the pool is great. Also, I appreciated that there was salt, pepper, oil, and even handwash or washing-up liquid. The owner even enquired after us during bad weather which I found nice. Oh, and a wonderful terrace shaded with vines.ClaudiaGermany

Modern very clean and spacious villa; all bedrooms en-suite, well equipped kitchen, cable TV and WiFi, lovely terrace with views to the surrounding hills. Secure and safe enclosed garden for car. Pool (regularly cleaned), BBQ area and decking. Excellent communication with the owner.

He drove us to the town of Afife to get groceries, and then again in the morning to catch a train. Very quiet location as it is away from the village and the highway. We had access to the kitchen to prepare our meals and shared them with other couples that were also staying that night.
