Location is very convenient and really nice. Some of the reception staff seemed very judgmental and condescending; others were welcoming. Breakfast was really good and breakfast staff was very nice. Room was quite nice; our room service was not the best -- cleaning was poor.

Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.
King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.
Nowadays, the town is a cosmopolitan beach retreat along the Estoril Coast, where people from Lisbon and other Portugal cities come for a day or weekend escapade. Many foreign tourists prefer its more relaxed hotels over the sometimes hectic Lisbon atmosphere.
Don’t miss the Citadel, rebuilt during the 16th century in a typical star-shaped Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Museum of the Sea and the ‘Paula Rego House of Stories’.
Beach hotels are the gem of Cascais and you can find a wide range on Booking.com. Check your availability with enough time in advance, as the city remains a popular summer destination.
I am very disappointed. The apartment is nothing like the photos...old and smelly. Very low maintenance to the property. There was a mole at the bathroom and a lot of Flys at the bath and washroom. The smell was awful of some very harsh cleaning liquid mixed with mole smell. They just took a very poor condition apartment and painted everything in white but it is still old and smelly ...painted the mole as well but you could still see and smell it

I love Cascais!
I love Cascais! There are many things to do here and nearby locations too. Great restaurants, shopping, beautiful parks, nature walks, cafes, museums, outdoor markets and not far from Cascais are the palaces of Sintra and even a Moorish castle. There is a train station in Cascais with trains that go directly into Lisbon in about 25 minutes. Without hesitation i recommend a visit to this beautiful city. I think you will love it too!

Cascais is a beautiful area.
Cascais is a beautiful area. Easily one of the most prettiest places we have stayed in. A beautiful beach, shops, restaurants and an array of beautiful buildings. Easy to pop on the train to Lisbon which took 40 mins and worth the few euros it cost. We visited in Nov so the weather wasn't hot but we had a lovely warm breeze plus a few showers but you expect that at that time of year.
We went to Cascais for my mum's birthday, and the hotel staff made us feel so welcome, they made my mum's birthday so special, with a little surprise in our room.
Breakfast was excellent, very tasty and good variety for any dietary requirements, fresh local food.
The room was comfortable with good size bed, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained.
The best part is the staff, they love what they do, and you feel it.
I recommend Art 4 you Cascais suites, the team will make you feel like you are part of a family 😊
The location is excellent right on the beach while also in the centre of the town - the location is excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous, with a nice pool and sunbathing area, and the breakfast is excellent. However, what lets the hotel down is the ensuite bathroom is tired and appears dirty. The bathroom needs refurbishment which is disappointing as this is not a cheap hotel. They provide a complimentary drink on arrival and a turn down service.
Charneca is a lovely little village with close proximity to all of Cascais, Sintra, and Lisbon. Villa Pedroso had a nice outdoor area that we enjoyed and the property was spotless. Rodrigo, our host, was very kind and helpful. When we arrived in town, we got a little lost and messaged Rodrigo. He drove to where we were and we followed him to the house. He also delivered fresh bread from a local bakery in the morning! This is a host that goes above and beyond!
The excellent experience started in the check-in with an amazing staff team. The room decoration was very nice. We stayed in a triple room, in which all beds were top quality (comfort) and the room very beautiful.
The breakfast was enough diversity and the scrambled eggs were better than in many 4 or 5 stars hotel
I stayed.
The location is very central in Cascais, and close to the commercial, food, service, beach, and train station areas.
This hotel is situated perfectly in the center of Cascais, you can easily walk everywhere of interest. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I had a wonderful stay for nearly a week here. The room was very spacious and had plenty of room to set up your belongings in organized closets, including large space for hanging your clothes. I highly recommend both the area and especially this hotel.
The hotel was perfect for viewing the water, and walking to restaurants, shops, bakeries, museums, marina, beaches, and anything else you wanted to see. The breakfast was amazing! It had anything you wanted from fruit, pastries, eggs, meat, coffee, juice, pancakes etc. We also enjoyed the rooftop lounging area. We enjoyed a cocktail and swam in the pool one afternoon. I have no complaints.
The Pestana Cascais was an ideal location for us to explore this corner of Portugal. The hotel is on a quiet street, the breakfest buffet offered an expansive selection, the room was always clean and tidy and (most important) the staff (from the front desk, to the restaurant to the cleaning staff) were exceptionally polite and helpful. Bravo to the entire hotel team.
Lovely old, quirky Cascais house with a huge garden that has been done up as a guesthouse. Spotlessly clean and great value for money. I needed a crashpad for a night in Cascais as I was in town for a meeting and did not want to waste a ton of money on overpriced hotels. My room had an ensuite bathroom which was great.
Fantastic location with wonderful views of the Guincho beach and sea from hotel rooms and the restaurant. Don’t be out off by the exterior. Rooms have been refurbished and represent value for money. 100 euro a night compared to 400 or more nearby. Best of all is the friendly service in the hotel.
Breakfast is amazing! Easily one of the best breakfasts I ever had in a hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff is super nice and the private garden is my favourite. Super convenient location, 3-5 min walk to the beach (and all the restaurants and bars)
Best location ever if you want to be central. The hotel is just in front the beach.
There is a indoor swimming pool with an outdoor sunbed area, which is ideal if you arerelaying on weather. Also there is a bar there which makes it it ideal.
The staff is super nice and helpful, the breakfast is amazing! The best breakfast I had in a hotel ever.
The location is perfect, close to everything. We extended our stay after spending there a couple of days because we simply loved it!
well located for Sintra and Lisbon and Cascais is delightful. A wonderful big 'Atlantic' pool area is a great focus for a family holiday, good other golf and tennis facilities as well as good bar and restaurant in the Boutique Hotel.
This hotel is one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. The view from the pool area is stunning. Our room was fabulous. The location for the beach or enjoying walking around Cascais is perfect. Overall a perfect stay.
It’s very cost hotel in excellent location in Cascais. 5 min from train station to Lisbon. 5 min from the beach. 2-5 min from best restaurants in Cascais. It was great pleasure to stay in this hotel
We loved our staying in this hotel. Staff are very friendly, place is clean and the facilities are great. Close to the city centre and beaches. We definitely would recommend this place.
Beautiful outdoor pool area, very relaxing and the kids loved the kids pool and area!. A short walk from central Cascais. Nice, spacious, comfortable hotel rooms and hotel amenities.
I love the staff that was so personable as well as informative. I loved the grounds the entire hotel has been made to be the focal point of the prestigious Cascais.
