My schedule was so busy I didn’t get to spend enough time at this really charming hotel. I would absolutely stay here again, but plan to relax at the hotel, a bit more and enjoy the breakfast in the dining area. The proximity to the ocean is perfect and there are of variety of services and other restaurants nearby but the restaurant at the hotel is very nice. The rooms have beautiful wooden furniture and nice crisp linens. I had to leave very early for the airport one morning and the staff was kind enough to pack me a little lunch and I have coffee ready for me at 4 AM. Thank you so much for accommodating me.

VNDG gives the most amazing views of Porto. A short walk across the bridge to the city. Its flat where I stayed but the city is very steep with lots of steps so wear sneakers. The tiled churches as stunning. Doing all the touristy things - I caught the cable car, the tram, the furnicular, shopped the markets, visited the churches, climbed the tower, booked for the Livraria Lella, had a glass of wine at the market, went to wine bars, Time Out market for dinner and Portuguese tarts with coffee.
I had a fabulous time and visited World of Wine as Porto is a Great Wine Capital.

Beautiful part of Porto, right over the river with plenty to do. Most of the Porto wine "caves" are on this side of the river but getting across is a quick uber ride. We did a Tuk Tuk tour as well and got to enjoy a Fado performance at night. New Years Eve dinner cruise was great but book ahead so you don't miss out! I would definitely visit again!

The area has plenty of interesting things to visit.
The area has plenty of interesting things to visit. Of course, the region is very well known for the vineyards and the respective Port wine cellars, which you can visit and even have a wine tasting. A walk by the river is also recommended.

Being across the river from the old town means gorgeous views and a wonderful relaxed vibe. So many great places to eat and drink all within a short walk. And the old town is easily accessible by foot, tram, even cable car. You are surrounded by the port warehouses, and other renovated industrial buildings. The whole area has had a recent facelift and the city as a whole is very safe and friendly. Everywhere you go the staff and shopkeepers go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing stay. Except the lady in the tourist information. She must have been having a bad day!

Location is in Gaia so the bedroom looked across the river to Porto. The manager was on site when we arrived at 3pm. She was super nice and friendly and getting set was easy. The unit was a 1 bedroom with a living room area with a small kitchen. Not really suitable if you're not going to be dining out but fully functional. Nespresso maker and hot water pot, a nice large continental breakfast, this was one of the best rooms we booked on our 4 week vacation to Portugal and France. and lots of good places to dine out if you do your research.
First of all, the staff were really friendly. They kindly introduced the room and hotel space. The view from the window was beautiful, the room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The amenities were also from Claus Porto, so they were fragrant and very nice. The rooftop also had a great view and the meal was delicious. For breakfast, I could ordered the omelet and oatmeal which were very delicious. If I go to Porto again, I will definitely choose The Rebello again. ;)
We had an outstanding stay. The staff was highly service minded at check-in and check-out (Fransesca), amazing view of Porto from our hotel/room and a free upgrade was a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast at the terrace was an excellent start of the day. Yeatman's proximity to the WoW (World of Wine) museum was brilliant and the museum was very interesting in a modern educational setting. We will come back and stay at the Yeatman again.
We were going through a lot during our stay. A family member was unexpectedly hospitalized in Porto. It was nice to get out of the city at night and relax with the ocean breeze. Walking on the beach paths in the morning was peaceful, stopping along the way with many cafes. The apartment provided everything you need including a Wonderful ocean view, clean, safe and great staff. Lots of space, great for couples or family.
I have been staying at the Gaia residence since March and it is for sure one of the best and most comfortable places to be in Gaia/ Porto.
And there is close to one of my favorite places Jardim do morro and cais de gaia with all the restaurants.
It is a nice apartment style room but inside the hotel and very big and comfortable. Cheaper then many small rooms in Porto, very quiet and elegant.
The location is fantastic!
The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly!
My boyfriend had birthday and he got a birthday cake sent to our room!
The hotel for inside is very beautiful and decorated!
They have one bar on the 11th floor which have an amazing view and is also nice to watch the sunset!
I would definitely stay in this hotel again whenever I visit Porto!
Everything. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and kindly let us store our bags for a few hours after checking out. The hotel had a quiet ambience, was spotlessly clean and we slept well on the huge, comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and location is ideal too. We very much hope to stay again next time we're in Porto.
Location location location is the best. Close to metro, bus or train. Short walk to main attractions such Porto caves, restaurants, bars and the bridge to the city centre.
You can find the kettle and cups in the shared area which I liked as not many hotels in Portugal have them.
Highly recommended for short stay. 😊
Bedrooms are lovely , very quiet, great linen , comfortable beds, Lovely design throughout hotel . Fabulous breakfast - great views and design of restaurant. Staff are lovely everywhere in hotel . The hotel and bedrooms also smell lovely . Would highly recommended and will stay again if we come back to Porto.
Our stay was great. The apartment is as advised on Booking, very clean, spacious, comfortable, sheltered from outside noise, and contains everything one should need for a short stay in Portugal. The location is very close to all the important places in Vila Nova de Gaia and we had no problem finding it as.
Very cute and clean apartment in a quiet and easy location to explore Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto! AC in every room ensured for maximum comfort. Easy check in/check out process. Tons of things to eat and do moments outside our door. Paolo was responsive and helpful before and during our stay.
Hotel was easy to find and had secure parking garage for my motorbike. Reception staff were brilliant and helped us sort out the bus for going into the centre of Porto.
Room was clean with adequate space for the price. It also had a kettle for the the all important cup of tea!!!
We loved every single moment we spent a the hotel, one of the best places to stay in whole of Portugal. The service is unmatchable, staff is friendly and professional, interiors are luxurious and welcoming. Perfect stay and we definitely will be coming back many times
Carla the host was absolutely incredible! every hotel needs someone like her for the best tips for the city!
The property exceeded my expectations offering the best views of Porto from our bedroom!
I would definitely stay again!
Amazing hotel in a prime location. Walking distance from Gaia’s and Porto’s Ribeira ( restaurants, bars, etc) . Views are excellent and helpful friendly staff . Don’t miss breakfast quite an experience.
Great location, really easy access to Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto. Literally located next to the Port wine caves. Property was very good and met our expectations for cleanliness and features
Great modern hotel in a quiet location on the Gaia side of the river. Very comfortable room and a quick 10 minute walk to the city rail line or by foot across the bridge into Porto.
The location is priceless as the view from the Living room is stunning. We met people who stayed in good hotels in Porto who lost for words when they sav.oured the view we had
The location and hotel was great, very fortunate to stumble across this hotel during our short stay at porto! Definately will come back if we have the opportunity!!
