Gorgeous property. Lounge chairs and comfortable seating area around the pool. Well landscaped. Wish we could’ve used tennis courts but ran out of time. Large room with lots of places to sit and relax

Just up the hill from beach front with balcony views of pool and Atlantic Ocean. Luz is a beautiful town. Prettiest town at the beach front we visited in Portugal and Spain.

From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow.
From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow. Path not suitable for older folks or those with mobility problems. Had to drive. Good restaurants, beach and coffee shops. Grocery store close .
Easy drive to other beaches and towns for exploring.

The street closest to the beach where we stayed was the best 'old world' part of Salema. Other parts can be less aesthetically pleasing but the whole place is less fussy and busy than other coastal spots like Luz or Lagos. A quiet place worth 2 nights. Restaurant options good too, even in winter.

I loved this beach!
I loved this beach! It was so picturesque and uncluttered with commercialism. The water was a little too cold for us to swim, but it was a beautiful to stroll along the beach. Although this was a small beach, there were plenty of restaurants.

Quiet fishing village, not touristy.
Quiet fishing village, not touristy. Beautiful beaches and views of the ocean. Friendly people, good restaurants, lots of fresh fish. Easy to get around if you are wearing sturdy shoes as lots of steps and steep paths into the village from Salema Beach Village, however, there is a shuttle service from the hotel if required.

I deliberately chose to stay in Salema as I was looking for a small, pristine beach/fisherman g location - and I found it all there!
Salema has preserved its authentic self despite the tide of tourism that has engulfed other parts of the Algarve.
The beach is big enough to absorb many visitors without being full. The sand is beautiful and sunsets are of course very special.
The village has some very good restaurants, a gelateria and lots of cute shops.
And who doesn’t want to live, even temporarily, on Rua dos Pescadores!
The best place for your vacation. Espacious rooms, cleanliness of the place, location, the ocean view, large pool, everything was so perfect we wanted to prolong our stay in this place. We've received very good promotional rate, so it was really cost beneficial for us. The hotel manager Solange was extraordinary and she was very helpful. I'd say one of the best places I've ever stayed and totally recommend it. We'll come back for sure if we go to Algarve next time.
We loved Romantik Villa . It is a great location and the accommodation is lovely and super clean . The pool area is fantastic and is a great place to relax and unwind . Short walk to the lovely Salema and the beach , restaurants and shops . Oliver is outstanding as a host and goes above and beyond , even waiting up after midnight to greet us when we arrived late . He is really helpful and friendly . We can’t wait to visit again !
Spacious, modern and clean. So glad we paid for a sea view, stunning view. Resort is small but a few good restaurants and a beautiful beach. Great mini market at bottom of complex. Daily cleans. We had a car and had trips to Sagres, Slide and Splash, Lago Zoo, Luz, Alvor. Wonderful holiday and beautiful weather in April.
Amazing location, very clean rooms, simple and chic decor, friendly reception, very nice pool (was unheated in April, don't know if it's ever heated) in a great location right by the beach and super close to restaurants/bakery/shops. A/C and mini-fridge worked well. A terrific small hotel we'd like to visit again!
Our stay at Romantik Villa was perfect. Fabienne was a wonderful resource and available for any questions. The room was big and well apportioned. The grounds and pool are beautiful. It was very relaxing and short (steep) walk into town and the beach. Great restaurants. The washing machine was very appreciated.
We stayed in the Domo camp at Salema Eco camp and it was perfect for 5 people equipped with whatever we needed including a kitchenette and a parking spot and running water to wash. The Salema beach is a 2 min drive but you could also walk there and its a gorgeous calm beach.
We loved everything about Casa Celeste! It was the perfect little studio apartment for our 5 day stay. The hosts have thought of everything, and the location couldn’t be better! Fabulous sunsets and close to the beach and restaurants. We loved it. 💗
The hotel is located right next to the beach in a small town not over run by tourists. It has a definite Portuguese style, very homey. The staff treats you like family. Although the hotel is older it is well maintained and has a great location.
Fabulous view, swimming pool was lovely and not too busy. Villa exceeded our expectations, it even had a little rooftop terrace. Salema was nice, we had some wonderful meals out and the beach was very nice.
The room is amazing. Great bathroom, kitchen facilities and a huge and comfy bed. Gorgeous balcony overlooking the beach. Slept with the windows open so could listen to the waves all night.
The pool was fantastic! It was nice to have a small market and pastry shop on the premises. The room was small but comfortable. The management even supplied a beach umbrella.
Comfortable bed. good shower, great garden, air conditioning. A lot of accommodation in Salema is up steep hills - this one is on the flat beside the beach
