The town is big but most houses and some shops seemed closed (late October, early November) but you can find anything you need and it's a good location to travel both East and west fo the Algerve.

I stay here regularly, its a great town a mix of local and visiting people, but nothing like Albufeira, the beach is perfect for running, swimming. The Market is wonderful. Apartment was clean and very well equipped, also air conditioned inlcuding bedrooms. Short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, including Bistro 176 and bar near kids playground. Some lovely reasonably priced restaurants Pera Bistro, Olivemar, Italian, Palm Beach.

Beautiful location. Relaxing and wonderful scenery gardens well maintained and rooms clean and air-conditioning perfect. Attentive and pleasant staff at reception and in dining areas. A fantastic location for a relaxing stay in beautiful cliff top location with wonderful beaches near by. Food good choices and fresh.

Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter...
Beautiful beach, perfect break away in the quieter winter months. Holiday Inn is right on the beach and if you book a sea view room you won’t be disappointed. Some lovely Portuguese restaurants locally. Love coming back here whenever we can.

The staff are exceptional. It’s a very welcoming hotel in an excellent beach front location. We were lucky to have a sea view room with a private balcony. It’s a very nice & relaxing place to stay. We are already planning our next visit.FrenchPortugal

- 8.7Scored 8.7ExcellentRated excellent· 29 reviewsA good price for a last minute trip,the home appliances were good and i liked that i could connect with my phone to the tv,the location is like 1min away from the beach(but the beach was very busy there and we usually drive 10min to the northern side of the beach called Praia dos Salgados were it was very nice and way less people),Lidl and other shops and restaurants very close to the location,the owner was very friendly and greeted us for a late check in,all in all was good to have a whole flat for a week at a decent price.

Breakfast buffet was excellent and restaurants were great (particularly enjoyed the Wine Cellar for a date night!). Rooms were also great with a lovely balcony overseeing the beautiful grounds. Finally, the staff were really wonderful, helpful, and accommodating!

The staff, the service, the amenities, the rooms and everything else was exceptional. Ines at check in was wonderful and helped us with everything we needed. Everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing. Fabio X3 and everyone else in the dining room and pool patio were exceptional. The Dive bar attendants were awesome too. If you want to have an amazing time when visiting Portugal, this is the place to stay.

Apartment was very clean, everything was ready for great vacation. Location is good: 5 minutes to supermarket Lidl and bus stop (to Lagos, Albufeira etc). So it is very easy to travel around. Beach is also 3-5 minutes from the house. Ocean view 15/10! Apartment equipped with everything you need. That was our best days in Portugal 🥰
