Everything, starting from the location of the house, the house itself and the hosts, Bernardo and his sister. Although our trip was at the beginning of December, the ambient of the house was perfect and very cozy. During the day we enjoyed the sun, when it was present :), at night we would light up the fireplace for warmth. Bernardo's place made us feel at home.

Bernardo met us at his restaurant near to the property, and we followed him in his car to the villa which is tucked in the hills on an unnamed road! He then showed us around and how things worked.

I will leave an extensive review, mainly useful for families with young children. We have a 2.5 yo toddler and a 10 mo baby. The house is very clean (the cleaning ladies did a great job), spacious and looks even better than on the pictures. Almost everything is new but still has everything you need when cooking or just relaxing. Our children enjoyed the automatic shutters haha and all the space they had. It’s also very childfriendly since there is a fence around the house and of course the swimming pool. Beds are good and new. It’s also nice that because of the automatic shutters it’s very dark in the sleeping rooms. It has 3 bathrooms so our son had his own bathroom, he was very happy with that haha The jacuzzi was also very well cleaned. Bernardo is very kind and helpful. The restaurant they own is also the best in Monchique, in our opinion. Don’t forget to book a table beforehand.

L’endroit était magnifique, calme et la fraîcheur de la nuit était très agréable 😎 Le gilet du coup le soir est supportable au vu du vent à partir de 20h-21h. La maison est très bien équipée, la literie est très bien 👍

Alles was goed voorzien. Heel fijn dat er afwasmiddel, wasmachine met afwastabletten, vaathanddoeken, kruiden en olijfolie voorzien was. Ruime villa en zeer rustig gelegen.

Tolle Unterkunft, unglaubliche Aussicht, toller Gastgeber der sich sofort gekümmert hat als es Probleme gab. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch sein Restaurant.
