Massages are really good, high quality professionals. Asked for a couple massage (both at the same time) which was not an option but they made it possible.
Restaurant is very good price value.
Sauna space was wonderfull. Bedrooms and the whole hotel feels very new and clean.

The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the ocean and the Santuario de Santa Luiza. The room had a sitting area, and a balcony with chairs, and the bed, pillows, and duvet were all comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner menu were varied and the food was delicious.

Rui, the manager, was EXCEPTIONAL and went out of his way to make our stay amazing, going out to get gluten free bread for breakfast. As well as other kind gestures. He is terrific.

Perfect location. very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast
Gorgeous city by the sea. Beautiful blend of the old and the new, from a bridge designed by Gustave Eiffel to a modern shopping plaza in the centre of town near the main train station. A definite Parisian feel with lots of colorful sidewalk cafes and shops along clean, tree lined streets. I highly recommend making this a stop on your tour of Northern Portugal.

Viano do Castelo has a nice maritime feel to it with nearby beaches, historic old city center, many good restaurants, and sits below the amazing Santa Luzia Cathedral. One must visit the Cathedral and if daring go up to the top of the Cathedral (mix of elevator and then steps) for the best 360 degree views of the region, ocean and land.

I loved everything about Viana do Castelo.
I loved everything about Viana do Castelo. It was New Year's Eve and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely one of the best nights of my life! The people, the decorations, the lights and although a lot of fun was being had, it just felt so safe and welcoming!
The next morning the streets were spotless, everyone wishing you a Happy New Year and it was all in all just perfect. I'll definitely be coming back. In fact I'd love to live there!

Lovely town to stroll around with lots of interesting buildings/architecture, nice boutiques and specialist shops and a good mix of places to eat. If we had stayed longer it would have been worth having a car but for 4 nights it was fine without. (Hotel has a car park)

Viana do Castelo is a great place to just relax if you want to get away from the tourist scene in the big cities. It's easy to go on day trips and outdoor activities from there. The food was amazing, the people polite and friendly. We hope to go back.

Our luggage is being ferried along the Camino by a transfer company. They took the clearly labelled luggage to the wrong location. Susanne at the Front Desk, who spoke Portuguese, English and Spanish made a couple of phone calls for us to the company and had things sorted out in short order. Our luggage was delivered within the hour! Fantastic help!
I should also mention that the morning breakfast was the best we have had since our arrival in Portugal, 2 weeks ago. Lots of fresh fruit!
I really enjoyed staying in your beautiful apartment. It is so lovingly prepared, colors, materials and the design of the room are simply outstanding. As an architect, I appreciated the quality of craftmanship and very high-quality equipment.
Such lovingly designed accommodations are very rare. In addition, there is the very friendly welcome and the perfect location in the center of the old town of Viana do Castelo. A big thank you for allowing me to be your guest.

What a wonderful place to arrive at after a long, rainy day on the Camino. It was so clean, comfortable and quiet, it was the best sleep I've had since arriving in Portugal. The lady that welcomed me on arrival was lovely and spoilt me for breakfast in the morning. Cafe Catete was just down the road and the very kind South African lady served simple, tasty, cheap food. It was a miserable January day and I was alone there but it was perfect. Thanks!
Location is very good, 5 minutes to main street in Viana do Castelo, and within 10 min. walk to train and bus statioc. Kitchen and dining room staff were delightful, and breakfast was varied, well-prepared and delicious. Building is well maintained, common areas were well decorated. Elevators were new and well-functioning (NOT always the case in Portugal or anywhere else!). Beds were delightfully comfortable. Highly recommend!
Even in the middle of another wave of Covid in Portugal I felt very safe here. All guests were strictly tested and only let in with a negative result. The ladies in the kitchen disinfected tables and chairs after anyone who had breakfast and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The staff were also nice and helpful. Although the furniture/design could be renovated, I would definitely stay here again when in Viana.
Amazing location right on the sea front with stunning views. Rooms were large, spacious and very clean with a love balcony overlooking the sea and super bathroom. Would recommend staying here and would book again if visiting Viana do Castelo. Right on the Camino coastal route. If I have any comment it would be the restaurant - my vegetables (spinach) weren’t the best but that is personal choice.
The Axis Fitness Center was outstanding. Great variety of equipment and plenty of options for working all the major muscle groups
Fitness Center staff members were very helpful as well.
The hotel is great, but the Fitness Center really made my visit there great.
The breakfast was really nice. Plenty of healthy options.
The hotel is located in an historical building in Viana do Castelo city centre, very close to the train station and walking distance to the old city centre where all monuments, restaurants and bars are located. The room we stayed was spacious and nicely decorated. The historical atmosphere of the hotel is remarkable.
Beautiful place, lovely peaceful grounds and pool. Rooms ware magnificent, a lot of care in the decor. Wonderful varied breakfast. Delicious coffee best I had in Portugal. Staff were very helpful and booked taxi and dinner for us. Done all they could for us.
The hotel was right on the beach. It was also close to the bus stop where the 09:00 bus took you into Viana do Castelo and the 17:00 bus brought you back.
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast ,with Ana as host ,was superb. We really enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Everything was fabulous. The breakfast was incredible. The staff are beyond helpful. I'm hiking the Camino and originally booked 2 nights. I added a 3rd night after spending 1 night there.
Beautiful grounds, right off the Camino, about 5 km before Viana do Castelo. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. The lodging itself is very spacious, with the beds in the loft above the main area.
Everyone was wonderful, especially the nice lady at reception. My only grumble was that the bed pillows were too hard for my taste. Excellent choice and one of the highlights of Portugal!
The view was amazing. The room was very classic and french style.
Had dinner downstair in the restaurant and it was nice.
I had the most amazing last night in Portugal.
