The location was perfect! Tucked away in a charming neighborhood full of old world Portuguese charm. Walking distance to town but out of the way.
The host were very accommodating. Met me in town at a cafe and guiding me to the property. I do not speak the local language which is always a little challenging but one of the owners did which made a world if did

The location was super, just a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and the dining room - on the top floor - had spectacular views. Moreover, the front desk personnel were unusually friendly and helpful!

Getting around Pataias was rather easy because we had a car. We ate at two local restaurants and had some very good Portuguese food. The location was perfect and attractions in the area were easy to get to. overall, we had an excellent stay in Pataias.

Nice and well located portuguese town smacked at the central area of the country. Easy access to the beach, to Marinha Grande, Leiria, Batalha, Nazare and Caldas da Rainha. So more than Pataias itself, if you have a car, you are all set for a great tour of the area. Beach, town and country within 50 miles is a plus.
