Rosa & Gardenia are two bungalows within the area of a manor house built in late 1800. Inherited from the family, has been renovated in slowly periods for the past 10 years. The property used to be a large farm, producing it's own vegetables and wine. There are still some olive, cherries, peaches, apples, nuts and some other trees. A quite place with huge beautiful gardens a a big pool (16 mts x 6 mts). It's a short walking distance to beautiful Lima river, and the ecovia. A trail walking path that can take you walking to Ponte da Barca or Ponte de Lima , always buy the river side. There are a couple of bars, a restaurant, a supermarket, and a central park and the church of Sao Martinho Da Gandra. An ATM and a medical facility. We recommend to all visitors to try the Vinho Verde of the Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima, since many local farmers take their grapes to it.

You should walk along the ecovia, get started in the morning. During the day visit Ponte de Lima, Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez.... in the way to Ponte da Barca, in Lavradas, there is a romanic church, don't miss this visit. Also try some of the sports available in the area. SUP, hiking, biking... or go to Cabedelo and try some windsurf, kite surf or just enjoy the beach. It's only 30 minutes away. Valenca do Minho is a beautiful fortified village and has good shopping.
