Very quiet and small resort. Ideal for a short relaxing getaway. My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal. Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

Excellent in every aspect.
Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks. Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.

The contact was very nice and everything we needed was provided within a short timeframe. The house is very nice decorated and equipped and perfect for a family to stay. We really enjoyed our last 5 nights in Portugal in this house. Note: The house is directly next to a street but this is no problem during night as the sleeping rooms are on the back. In addition there is a gate which is closed so the kids can play in the garden safely.

Also, the room on the 5th floor in the middle of the building had wonderful view. Extremely large and comfortable bed. Tall mirror in the room. Cosy and big enough terrace. Large variety of food for the breakfast and champagne again here as well)) Spa is very good too, including sauna, different showers and elegant pool inside. Swimming pool outside of course has amazing ocean view and even some tables with chairs to seat and relax.

The apartment gets alot of natural light and has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room window. Sesimbra's older, historic part has alot of charm. If you walk around the winding streets, you will discover many gems, including beautiful tile murals, the Capela da Misericordia, the old fortress, the old Moorish castle on the hill, and more.
