Large common area, very good location to see Peniche. Definitely good if you are not solo or if you are wanting to surf.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche.
At first sight i couldn’t see the beauty of Peniche. But once I settled in and explored the beach and surrounding area it became clear it’s a beautiful place.
The beach is stunning, you have the choice of mingling with the locals or having so much space to chill.
The beach cafes were excellent and so well priced.
With so many restaurants to chose from, the seafood is delicious and again well priced. Simple food but made very well.
The Portuguese people are very welcoming and friendly.
A place I will visit again.

Friendly people lots to do but not marked on google maps so you have to explore alot of it yourself. The chapels are well worth a visit especially one of them that's at the far left of the peninsula. A monk was found in a cave there and they built a stunning chapel for him.

Peniche is a nice sea site town to visit. You can get fresh fish out of the fishermanˆs truck. We had a wonderful octopus in a restaurant by the Forte da Praia da Consolacao. Next time we will stay longer.

Peniche was our first beach town after visiting cities and it did no disappoint. It's a lovely spot and has a small beach town feel, as it should! It's was to walk around and there are many choices of bars and restaurants.

Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area.
Some gorgeous beaches in Peniche and the surrounding area. We took some surf lessons which was great fun and the location for them is perfect. It's not a very bustling area, so if you're after a lot of atmosphere might not be the place for you.

Peniche is the right choice, if you appreciate closeness to the nature, ocean views, roar of the Atlantic, trekking along the coastal paths and don't mind an occasional shower of rain. It is also close to Lissabon, with a working bus connection. Small calm town, perfect hideaway for a peaceful break and a relaxing holiday.
Quite a isolated hotel on the point by the light house. A car is a must to go eat!
I must say the hotel was very clean and Fresh good 3* standard, despite the going back in time with the 60/70 s furniture😂 The bed was very comfortable, even if it looked like my granny’s has did the room!
Breakfast was ok but nothing special .
Staff were ok but didn’t talk much!
Overall worth a overnight stop in Peniche we’re other hotels are expensive.
Recommend the PIZZA restaurant on the roundabout just after you cross the river!!
Such an amazing place. We randomly picked this hotel as a stop on our road trip up the coast of Portugal and it ended up being one of our favorites. We were a little worried since we got there so late at night and hours after our 'Estimated Time of Arrival' but Hugo was so nice and welcoming while checking us in that late at night. Great location and value. The perfect place to stay. The family at AtlasAdventured.com really enjoyed Casa Do Campo and highly recommends you stay here when visiting Peniche.
Great hotel. Decor, design and acoustics help to create a very peaceful vibe. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, neither were ever crowded.
V good selection at breakfast though hot food not great.
A 5 minute walk through the dunes across the road to a stunning beach… gorgeous walk when tide was out. 10 minute walk either way to part with lifeguards so possible to swim though it’s a surfing beach too. About a 7 min drive to Peniche.
The location of the hotel is literally one block away from the beach. The beach (Frades) is very clean and sandy, more of local scene so its a nice change from being in heavy touristy spot. The hotel is located next to a bakery and the best pizza place we have tried in Portugal so far. The room is small and simple, as shown in the pictures. A bit musty. Host was super accommodating.
The bungalow was very cute. Everything was very clean and the staff was very nice. The restaurant above reception was very good (although it was pricy). There were dishes in the room along with a microwave and two hot plates. The ocean was right by the gate of the resort with amazing views just a few steps away. It was a great place for a few nights in Peniche.
Very charming older property, but beautifully maintained. Rooms (2) were very quiet and extremely comfortable (beds too). The included breakfast was excellent. For the price, this was the best property value we stayed at while visiting Portugal. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Just a short 10 minute walk to two supermarkets (Aldi and Lidl).
Great facilities.
Very good offer on things to do at the hotel. For instance, great play room, very nice sauna, Turkish bath, gym, leisure room, working room, very nice activity spaces outside such as jumping bed, climbing wall, jacuzzi and swimming pool.
Having a restaurant at the hotel facilitates a lot!
Room was spacious and comfortable.
Location great, from our sea view room view on waves possible. Room was relatively large, bed was OK, on the hard side but that was fine. Bathroom with bath was nice..
Swimming pool available which alas we couldn’t use, caps have to be bought.
Breakfast fine. Fast check out.
The hotel itself is a bit older, but nicely kept.
What was not to like. Frederick and Kristof were outstanding hosts and their guesthouse (we had the one bedroom) was beautiful. The town of Peniche is very walkable. We had the best meal of out trip based on recommendations of our hosts. We would love to stay here again on another trip.
The unit was clean and inviting with its own private balcony. A perfect location to catch the WSL tour at Peniche - with just short walk over the dunes. But what we loved most was our hosts, who were so welcoming and kind!
the hosts of Pillows Peniche B&B were so nice with exelent welcome. We could feel that they love people and their job. They gave us good advices. Breakfast was so intimic and rich. Location was perfect.
Beautiful place, super gentle and caring staff. We repeated our stay on the way back from north Portugal. Delicious breakfast. Peniche is definitely worth visiting!
