We loved the outside jacuzzi and it was a shame that the pool was so cold 😅 we tried to go into the pool but we couldn't. Since the outside jacuzzi was warm, we spent a couple of hours there. We also went to the interior pool and was amazing. We loved the location, the easiness to park, the room and the view.

Beautiful place, fantastic food. Lots of trips you are able to book when you're there like parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin watching, visit the caves, there's a waterpark nearby, beaches are beautiful and clean. It was perfect for a family holiday and we had great weather while we were there.

Marina was quiet in March but in the summer I imagine it could be hectic. Large selection of restaurants, all similar menus and prices. However the service and food was good in the few we went to. Plenty of staff

Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .

Great location with fantastic restaurants around the Marina and the streets behind. Easy to walk everywhere, plenty of shops and supermarkets in addition to local businesses. We loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome in bars and restaurants. Weather was constantly warm and sunny, average 26 degrees for 1st 2 weeks in October. I Cesteiro fish restaurant were we had turbot as a favourite, along with The Fisherman’s Shack, Rodizio & Sal & Fogo, all amazing food and service

I have stayed in Vilamoura many times and simply love the place and its vibrancy, great restaurants and bars. I would personally recommend one bar especially to visit and that is Als Bar a very high standard and great drinks with stunning bar area with a superb host namely Al. This bar is just off the Marina behind the road where the taxi rank is situated in a square with 4 restaurants in the vicinity.
The highlight of the Resort ist the Sand Pool. We have a 4-year old and this is the only way that we can let him play in the sand and in the water without constantly holding his hand. The Atlantic Ocean is a little too rough for that. The whole setting of the Resort is beautiful, with the lake, the nice buildings (only nice architecture in all of Vilamoura). Another convenient highlight is the closeness to the Vilamoura Marina und Falesia Beach.
The apartment is in the best location in Vilamoura. The balcony looks over the marina and we enjoyed having a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunset. There is an additional balcony for sunbathing which gets the sun to approximately 3.30pm. The apartment was spotless, had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. A big thank you to Elsa and the rest of the team for their help, communication and lovely surprise for my 60th birthday!
Villa Girassol was exactly the property we were looking for. We travelled to Vilamoura for a family wedding and wanted to make sure we were all together as a family rather than booking a hotel. The location was ideal with no problems getting an Uber or a Taxi into the marina at night for dinner. It was also a lovely walk to the Marina in the mornings. The facilities in the villa were exceptional.
The staff were super helpful, they couldn’t do enough to help, they were really nice with the exception of one individual who was rude and actually threw an item when I asked for pepper. The free shuttle to the marina was great (and required as the property is in the middle of nowhere). The main lobby is nice but not consistent with that of a 5 star hotel.
Everything really. Location to Marina, spar shop, golf courses.....Robes, ice machine, poolside towels etc. A lovely quiet more family oriented hotel but everything you could want bar nightlife. I'm cannot compliment the reception staff enough. No request was too much trouble from arranging taxis, transfer, SUP, bike hire, hair appointments. Bravo
The breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the staff was very friendly even though they might not have been able to assist with your issue. Making last minute golf tee times was a plus. It's a 5 - 10 minute walk to the marina with plenty of restaurants. There is also a casino nearby within 5 minutes to walk to.
The location was perfect & only a 5 minute to walk to the Marina,
the rooms were spotless & had every facility possible to enjoy a hassle free break away,
The swimming pool area was adequate with plenty of sun loungers,
Would definitely stay there again but in a different part of the building
The hotel is right next to the beach.
It's is away from the hustle and bustle of the marina, about a10min walk. The old town of Quateira, with a bit more traditional restaurants and price, is a pleasant 18min walk. The swimming pool towel system is a good one.
Apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The old village has lovely gardens, three pools and bars and restaurants it is also only 15 minutes walk from the lovely Marina. I would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location, close to the beautiful Marina and many bars and restaurants, and a very easy walk to the beach. Able to use the facilities of the other Dom Pedro hotels, e.g. spa, which was good as the facilities at Dom Pedro Portobelo are minimal.
The location of the Hotel was excellent, so close to the beach & Marina. Staff were excellent and so welcoming. The SPA was so good had the best Massage Ever 5* all the way..Will definately be back again!
Very nice apartment 5 mins drive from Vilamoura marina, with a view over the golf course.
Good facilities including English tv channels
Reasonably equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine
The apartment is designed and equipped intelligently. Good use of space, very comfortable.
The location is perfect. Just off the center of the marina, not too noisy.
