1908 Farmhouse

Stay in a 1908 Colonial farmhouse.

Built by my grandfather in 1908, this is a 5 hectares farm with fig and almond trees, dogs, chickens, sheep, goats, pigs and a cat.

The House

I'm renting the lower floor of this colonial house.

It is an independent house with 2 bedrooms (1 with a doublebed, the other with twinbeds), 1 living room (with a sleeping couch for 1), one kitchen and one bathroom.

The patios, barbecue area and the games room (billiard, darts) are common areas.

Surroundings

Nature: enjoy the 5 hectares of farmland and our animals. Taste a fig right out of the figtree. Go to the chicken's nest to get your breakfast eggs. Learn how a farmhouse was run in the beggining of the 20th century.

Beach: go to some of the best beaches Portugal has to offer. Explore the sea grottoes and exquisite rocks of Ponta da Piedade.

City: One of the cities that discovered the world. Lagos is a 4000 years old city, conquered in 1249. It had a major e on the Portuguese Age of Discoveries.

Boavista Golf Resort - 800 m

Located in the countryside, 2 km away from the centre of Lagos, 1908 Farmhouse offers peace and tranquillity and contact with farm animals. It is great for golf and beach lovers, with the Boavista Golf Resort at 800 metres and Porto de Mós Beach within 3 km. This house includes a double and a twin bedroom. The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer. The living room is equipped with wooden furniture, a sofa-bed, a flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. In addition there is a games room with billiards and darts. Free WiFi is available. Besides the fully equipped kitchen, guests can also use the barbecue facilities outdoors to prepare their own meals. For a taste of local gastronomy guests can visit the restaurants in the centre of Lagos serving their fish and seafood specialties. The Lagos Marina is a 8-minute drive and Meia Praia Beach is 5 km away. Guests can enjoy boat tours and discover the grottoes of the Algarve coast or engage in water sports activities in Lagos. Faro International Airport is 89 km away.
