Totally renewed early this year, is prepared to receive 2 families, for a refreshing Algarve experience.

Explore the city and the river on a walking promenada or fill your check list with all beaches around: Rocha, 3 Castelos, Vau, Alemão, Prainha, 3 Irmãos, Torralta, Alvor, or cross the river to Ferragudo, Caneiros, etc.

I'm pretty sure this is a perfect base to your Algarve explorations.

Hint: go North !! Run away from the sea and discover Silves and Monchique. Climb to Foia and check the coast from 950m high...
