Inspired by the work of Indian Nobel-Prize winner, Rabindranath Tagore, Casa Shanti Niketan aims to be "an abode of peace and joy". It offers homey and intimate accommodation 500 metres from Estoril Beach. Set in a 1950's building, the house is surrounded by a shady garden with fruit and palm trees. Guests will enjoy basking in the large outdoor terrace, or taste the daily breakfast in the conservatory and patio. Rooms at Shanti Niketan hotel are simple, yet equipped with modern flat-screen TVs broadcasting satellite channels. They all have large windows and en-suite bathrooms.
