Dans L'Atelier Unit Porta Nova Hostell is a secular house with 200 years of history and stories located in the heart of the historic center of Braga, decorated with alternative art notes, in a mix between ancient and modern. Nearby are Braga's most emblematic monuments, such as Arco da Porta Nova, Braga Cathedral, Museu dos Biscainhos, Jardim de Santa Barbara, Largo do Paço, among others.
Excellent accessibility to all types of public transport. For sunnier days, it has a balcony surrounded by plants where the calm and chirping of birds can provide, among other things, reading a book or working with the free wifi that the accommodation offers.
It has a kitchen equipped with a small stove, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, among others where guests can prepare meals. It is a modest kitchen and is not prepared to prepare food for storage. The rooms are spacious and have views of the city.
Please note that the kitchen is temporarily unable to be used as it is undergoing renovation.
Open-minded guests used to traveling modestly are our target, guests and couples looking for the lowest price expecting luxury accommodation will be disappointed and are not our target audience at all.
The Hostel is located on the route of the Camino de Santiago and the Camino Mariano Luso Galaico. Whenever possible, we do a short guided tour of Braga at check-in. Upon request, we can organize trekking activities through the Peneda Gerês National Park
