Starting in 1994, Turmuge Empreendimentos Turísticos Lda. began as a construction firm for tourism housing that diversified its business portfolio. It currently has various Algarve properties, which were built by the company itself.

Located in Arroteia, Livramento, Monte dos Avós is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park and features and outdoor swimming pool.
