World Heritage classified sites in Portugal: Tomar, Batalha and Alcobaça!
Also known as the “Templar City”, in Tomar we will unveil the charms of the “Mata dos Sete Montes”, the Castle and Convent of Christ (listed by UNESCO as World Heritage since 1983)! There will also be time for a quick stop so that you can enjoy a tasty meal at one of the many restaurants located in the typical commerce streets on the banks of Nabão River.
In Batalha we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória (also known as Mosteiro da Batalha, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage since 1983)!
Then we will be visiting Alcobaça and its beautiful Monastery, one of the most imponent testimonies of Circestience architecture in all of Europe (classified by UNESCO since 1989).
