Situated on the slopes of the Serra do Açor, this country house hotel offers panoramic views of Serra da Estrela. It features an outdoor pool and spa facilities. Surrounded by mountains, Hotel Rural Quinta da Geia has traditionally decorated rooms with balconies and wooden furniture. Each room has a flat-screen satellite TV, a work desk and ironing facilities. A rich breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily at the hotel's João Brandão restaurant. Packed lunches and special diet menus are also available. Guests can enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine around the fire in the lounge, before exploring Serra da Estrela’s valleys. They can also choose from a variety of activities including fishing, hiking and canoeing. Quinta da Geia has a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool situated on one of the terraces surrounding the hotel.
