Miguel island, Galera Cottage offers its guests a unique view over the sea, proximity of bathing areas, priceless tranquillity, and the possibility to visit the seventeenth century chapel of Nossa Senhora de Monserrate, located inside the propriety. The house stands out for its simple lines and for the use of materials typical of the Azores, such as traditional black stone, wooden beams and regional tiles. Some artifacts related to vineyards and wine were also used in indoor and outdoor decoration. Here, past and present merge and our guests are invited to spend a few days in a house full of history, but completely renewed, so that they can have all the amenities necessary for relaxing vacations in an idyllic spot such as Caloura.
