Quinta Da Longra

An experience in nature. It all started with the will to take care of the land and produce wine. In the years that followed the idea of refurbishing the old farmers house and turning it into a hotel arose along the way. In 2000 the project by award wining Portuguese architecs Pitagoras created the built environment that would make it all possible. Today Quinta da Longra is a place to experience nature, wine and natural products, in a cosy and friendly space.

Quinta da Longra is a wine producing farm with an outdoor swimming pool, in Santo Estevão de Barrosas village, 45 km from Porto city and 20 km from Guimarães. It offers free WiFi access. The house was refurbished combining a modern design in the living /dining areas and a traditional style in the bedrooms. Each unit has its own private bathroom. Guests of the apartment have their own kitchen, where they can prepare a homemade meal. The public areas have terraces where guests can enjoy breakfast, wine tasting sessions and relax. The swimming pool has its own bar and lounge, where guests can read a book and browse the Internet. For a more active day, guest can explore the surroundings with one of the rental bicycles, or participate in the wine-making process. Vizela Thermal Spa is within 6 km. Quinta da Longra has a shuttle service to Porto International Airport, located less than 40 minutes’ driving.
