Igreja de Sao Francisco - Porto

The Igreja de Sao Francisco in downtown Porto. The mostly 14th century gothic church was deconsecrated in the 19th century partly on account of the opulence of the gold clad interior becoming an embarassment to the Franciscans and their vows of poverty!
